Today we were looking at the possibility of rain but it didn’t materialize. We skipped a side loop into the western portion of Suguaro National Park because its roads were likely affected by recent rains. Our lunch stop was moved to the hotel to reduce our exposure to potential rains. Some rooms were ready when we arrived, others were not.
Headwinds were moderate, temperatures moderate. More time spent on the interstate, now I-10, and with shoulders containing the amounts of tire shrapnel that I’m accustomed to (though not pleased by).

At dinner one of the choices was “The Challenger.” Finishing it in 20 minutes would net one a gift certificate and a t-shirt. The closest to achieving that dubious award is said to be an 11 year old girl. Adam and our guide Darryl split it and could not quite finish it.
