101 miles, 1690 feet of climbing
Most of today’s climbing was subtle, very gradual gradients that left you wondering why your legs were working so hard on what looked essentially to be flat ground. None gained more than about 100 feet before going truly flat or starting downhill again. The roads had little traffic with the exception of a few highways connecting them. Another sunny day, a little hotter than the past few days.
